Issues you might face
Even if your device accepts iOS 10, it is good to know that some features might not work with lower models. Take an example; the 3D touch will only be available for those with iPhone 6andabove. If you love the multitasking feature, be sure that it will work for iPad Air 2 onwards. On the brighter side, a good number of the features will be available for all compatible devices. Security improvements will apply to all compatible devices. The older models cannot be supported because their hardware is not compatible with the software regarding technological advancements. Newer devices provide better performance since they have faster processors which are right for the demands the firmware would present.
iOS 10 will be the platform on which the iPhone 7 series will run on. Any other device that will be released on or after the date of its release will also be included in the list because their hardware will have been upgraded to meet these standards. In short, if your device is on iOS 7, 8, or 9 you will not have a problem running iOS 10.
